Below are the questions we get asked the most so this may answer yours.  If not please drop us an email via the contact page.

How do I place an order and what happens next?

If you would like to get in touch and order a cake then pop over to our contact page and fill in a quick form.  We will be in touch as soon as we can (usually within 48 hours) to discuss your cake with you and check availability.  Have a question about wedding cakes? More information is in our wedding information pack that you can request via the contact form.

Do you deliver?

We can offer delivery to your venue, depending on our availability, within the Brighton and Hove area.  Please note there would be a charge for this.

Alternatively we recommend a friend or family member collecting the cake. Cakes travel best sitting on a very responsible person’s lap! But if this is not possible sitting on a towel on the floor of the car is best.

Once the cake heads off on its journey with you it becomes your responsibility and we are no longer liable for any damage.  If an accident with the cake happens we will  of course do everything in our power and timeframe to help to fix it.

Can I hire a cake stand with my cake?

We do have a number of different styles and designs of cake stand available to hire.  Let us know when you place your order so we can choose the perfect one for you.

How should I look after my cake?

The cake should be kept at a cool, dry room temperature.  Do not refrigerate.  Humidity and cold can damage the cake and its decoration.  We will discuss this with you upon collection.

I have allergies, do you do nut free, gluten free, dairy free cake?

Currently all our cakes contain wheat flour, butter and eggs.  Whilst not all of our cakes are made with nuts, they are made in a kitchen where nuts and the above ingredients are stored and used.

How much notice do you need? 

To ensure availability please ensure you book your order as soon as possible.  For celebration cakes we recommend at least 2 weeks notice. For wedding or corporate orders we would recommend ordering your cake at least 3 months before the date to avoid disappointment.  We only take on a small number of bookings to ensure that each cake has our full dedication and attention.

Do you do Wholesale?
